style resolution

After making new year's resolutions last week, I thought it'll be fun to make style resolutions as well. Especially when I had to get rid of many stuff for moving (as I had a bigger closet in my old apartment), it seems necessary to make a right choice when it comes to shopping/styling.       

Buy only what I truly love - Although I always try to do, I still owned some stuff that I don't (which went straight to a Goodwill). Also what I realized is that I tend to buy so-so clothes at vintage stores (just because it's my size or great price?). Be extra careful there. 

Invest in a high quality pieces - Instead of having lots of cheap items, buy long lasting ones.

Buy one, lose one - This is mainly because my closet is already full now. Hope to have a bigger walk in closet near future though!   

前回今年の抱負について少し書いたけれど、今回はファッション関係の抱負も考えてみました。前のアパートの方が大きいクローゼットだった為、今回の引っ越しでかなりの服を売ったり寄付したりで処分したのでちょうどいい機会かと下記リストしてみました。

本当に沢山着る/使う物だけ買う- いつもそうしてたつもりだけどまだ改善の余地があると再認識。特にヴィンテージのお店だとちょうどいいサイズがあった等の理由であまり着ない物を購入してる事が判明。セールやヴィンテージ店では特に気をつけないと。。

いい物に投資する - いくつもの安いアイテムを買う変わりにお金を貯めてずっと使えるいい物を買う。全ての物を長く大切に使うのが目標。

１つ増えたら１つ処分 - これは特に今のクローゼットがもういっぱいな為。近い将来もっと大きいクローゼットが欲しいけどそれまでは物が溢れない様特に。
